Unfortunately I couldn’t get Gephi to load on my computer (probably because I am still in the technological dark ages); however I thought it would be interesting to track the international connections between the members of my wedding party, with the nodes being the individuals and the cities and the edges being the flight patterns.

Of the six people, I found that three out of the four had crossed paths in Prague, two in Vienna, four in Sophia, 4 in Paris, 3 in Morocco, 2 in Sao Paulo, two in Rio, two in Buenos Aires.

If you expand the node of individuals at the wedding the intersections increase: London, Edinburgh, Moscow and the list goes on if you continue to expand.

Quite an international wedding!
