Here is a screenshot of the relationship between the words 'censorship' and 'digital' over the last 50 years.  I am fascinated by the concept of digital censorship enabled through the legal doctrine of copyright.  Interestingly, while the use of the word 'censorship' has remained relatively stable over the last 50 years.  The usage of the word digital has gradually increased and then had a minor drop off in the past 10 years.  The phrases 'digital censorship' and 'internet censorship' produced no results.
